Will colour cover my grey?
People often panic when they see their first grey hair but it's really not a problem. Colouring techniques make it relatively easy to cover and blend the grey into natural looking tones.
The way we cover grey hair will depend on the amount of grey hair you have, your hair type and also the consideration of which tones suit you. For example, if you are blonde with just a few strands of grey the options are completely different to dealing with a full-head of grey hair where the natural colour was originally dark.
At what age do people get grey hair?
Grey hair can start to appear in your twenties and very occasionally even earlier. It is usually a result of genetics although in some cases illness can play a role.
Can hair colour make me look younger?
On one level making yourself look good will always lead to you feeling better about yourself and help you to be more confident.
The trick that hair colour performs is to compliment and flatter your complexion. It's not a matter of just choosing any colour because people want to appear younger at different ages. A colour that makes a 30 year old look in her twenties is probably not going to be the same colour she needs to use as a 40 year old looking to appear a few years younger.
This is because as our skin ages it also relates to the hair style worn. Colour is used in conjunction with hair style to give an overall image and a haircut which looks great on a 20-something doesn't always sit so well on a 40-something.
